The ICT Authority operates under the authority granted by the ICT Authority Act, which provides the legal framework for our operations and defines our responsibilities in advancing Jamaica’s digital agenda.

Our paid internship programmes provide students with hands-on experience in various areas of Information and Communications Technology, including Networking, Data Centre Services, Network Security, and Cybersecurity. These internships play a vital role in bridging the gap between academic learning and practical application, while also helping students develop and master new skills.
